Zhang xiaoquan® brand was found in AD 1628. Chinese kitchenware wholesale awarded medals at the 1915 Panama Pacific International Exposition. In 1600, Zhang Dalong opened a small shop in Hangzhou, forging shears. His shears were very popular in China. After Zhang Dalong died in 1628, his son named Zhang Xiaoquan took over the business. The company continues to grow, expanding different lines of shears and scissors, tin snips and knives, utensils, cutleries, tools, etc.
Zhang Xiaoquan was approved to register trademark under the Qing government and offered scissors to the court. Since then, Zhang Xiaoquan scissors are also known as imperial palace scissors.
